| Abstrak | Problem Statement/Background (GAP): This research is based on the number of unemployment figures in Jambi City which have not yet reached the target. and is a serious problem that must be resolved immediately by the Jambi City Government, especially through the relevant agencies, namely the Jambi City Manpower, Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Service. Purpose:This research aims to discuss the strategy of the Department of Manpower, Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (Disnakerkopukm) in overcoming unemployment in Jambi City . Mehtod:By using descriptive qualitative methods to get a direct picture of the problems and efforts that occur in the field through observation, interviews and documentation obtained. .The data that has been obtained is analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation and drawing conclusions.Result: The results of the research show that the strategy carried out by the Department of Manpower, Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises of Jambi City has been effective, namely by socializing the job seeker registration system, making company regulations for private companies, and optimizing employment programs and activities by maximizing human resources (HR).Conclusion: The strategy of the Department of Manpower, Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises of Jambi City in tackling unemployment is good and is based on the dimensions of objectives, policies and programs, each indicator of which has been fulfilled by the department. |
