| Abstrak | Problem Statement/Background (GAP) : An innovation in public service aims to address existing issues and represent progress or renewal in Indonesia. One such advancement is online-based services. The PARAK ACIL Online Application is the latest breakthrough by the Population and Civil Registration Office of Banjarmasin City for providing online civil registration services. A birth certificate is a crucial document for individuals, but awareness of its importance remains low. This is due to several factors, including geographical conditions making services hard to reach, the remote location of service centers, socio-cultural and traditional factors, and complex procedures.Purpose: From these issues, this research was carried out to find out, analyze and describe the innovations of the PARAK ACIL Online Application in the publication of birth certificates in Banjarmasin City. Method: The research method used is qualitative descriptive research method. Data obtained through observations, interviews, and documentation. The theory used in this study is the theory of innovation according to Rogers which is divided into five indicators: Relative Advantage, Compatibility, Complexity, Probability, and Obscurity. Result: Seeing from the results of the research that the implementation of the application has not fully matched the needs of users because there is still a society that does not know the flow or requirements. Uncertain number of birth certificate applications and incomplete socialization. And the means of service that can affect the service process. Conclusion: Based on these findings, it is recommended that the Population and Civil Registration Office of Banjarmasin City addresses the hindering factors by educating the public about the objectives of PARAK ACIL Online and enhancing widespread and accurate socialization. This will ensure that the implementation of the PARAK ACIL Online innovation for issuing birth certificates meets public expectations, thereby promoting orderly civil registration. |
