Abstrak Problem/Background (GAP): There is land promised by the government at the start of the transmigration program that has not been delivered. Apart from that, there are 103 certificates held by BPN which are suspected of having administrative defects which are currently controlled by the party who owns the land. Purpose: To analyze the causes of conflict and explore resolution strategies through a qualitative approach with case studies on transmigration land conflicts in Gambut Jaya Village. Methods: This research uses qualitative methods and the technical samples used are Purposive Sampling and Snowball Sampling. Results: The factor causing the transmigration land conflict in Gambut Jaya village is the land rights of the transmigration community which should have been obtained and used for their agricultural land but they did not get it and is in accordance with the dimensions of community relations, negotiation principles and differences in human needs from the theory of causes of conflict, whereas for The identity dimension is not appropriate to this conflict because it is not the cause of the transmigration land conflict in Gambut Jaya Village. Efforts to resolve the transmigration land conflict in Gambut Jaya village have been carried out using coercion, compromise, arbitration, mediation and concilation. This method is in accordance with Fisher's theory but has not found any clarity. Conclusion: Land conflicts in Gambut Jaya Village are caused by several factors, including unclear land ownership status, differences in perceptions between transmigrants and native residents, and deficiencies in the implementation of transmigration policies. This research also found that effective conflict resolution requires a comprehensive approach that does not only focus on legal aspects, but also on dialogue and mediation between communities to create better understanding and understanding.
