| Abstrak | Problem Statement/Background (GAP): The author focuses on the problem of implementing Digital Population Identity in Mimika Regency which has obstacles, especially internet networks but is able to win awards in the implementation of IKD. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to find out how the implementation of Digital Population Identity in Mimika Regency. Method: This study uses descriptive qualitative methods on the application of IKD according to Prof. Indrajit's Theory. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews (13 informants), dan dokumentasi. Result: The findings obtained by the author in this study are that the application of IKD is quite effective, the government's support for IKD is quite good, the facilities and infrastructure in its application are adequate, the use of IKD is increasing, and the use of IKD is good, although it is still constrained by regulations from the local government, experts, internet networks, security that is not optimal, there is no community initiative towards the use of IKD which is not needed at this time. Conclusion: The implementation of IKD in Mimika Regency is relatively effective, through an increase in the use of IKD in terms ofseveral dimensions and indicators. However, it isstill not optimal in its use. due to the new rules and people do not feel accustomed to Digital KTP, KTP with physical proof is still accepted and the lack of use of features contained in the IKD application and in overcoming this, Disdukcapil Mimika makes efforts in the form of promoting IKD through social media, actively doing services until holidays, continuing to socialize IKD to stakeholder institutions. As well as ensuring that people who come to do services already have an IKD, especially the mandatory age of KTP, which is 17 years and over. |
